New Marketplaces Embeds

How to get started with an Engine by MoneyLion marketplace Embed integration for New Marketplaces.

Embeds (i.e., embeddable widgets) provide access to Engine by MoneyLion's network and the ability to integrate a native, partner-hosted integration with very little technical lift. Embeds support fully customizable branding and design to deliver a seamless customer journey.

Note: this is the Alpha experience and will have upcoming iterations.

The Embed Code

​​Engine by MoneyLion will provide a unique Embed code during onboarding, including the following partner and product-specific elements:

  • channel - represents the traffic source name (i.e. your company)

  • zone - represents the app that should be served (e.g. "offers", which could be an existing zone such as “credit-builder-offers” “cash advance offers." It can also be a new zone such as generic-offers-for-blog-pages" or "generic-offers-for-homepage")

To integrate the Embed on your website, you will need to include the following two lines of HTML code. These lines can be placed in any order on the page, and the script can optionally be included within the included within the <head> tag if preferred.

Note: we do not support client tags at this current time.

Details & Customization

Auto-Sizing

The offers will be rendered wherever you include the <moneylion-generic-offers> </moneylion-generic-offers> or <moneylion-generic-offers/> tag in your page and will responsively scale to fill the space available to it.

Personalized Headings

You may want to accompany the offers with your own header or instructional text above the embeddable code. For example, this <h1> and <p> produce the screenshot above:
